Robert A. Bubser, AIF®, CEPA®
I bring a unique perspective to FPA Wealth Management. At the age of sixteen, I began working part-time at an auto parts store in White Plains, NY. I maintained employment there throughout college and upon graduating from the State University of New York at Oneonta earning a Bachelors Degree in Business-Economics.
I advanced to the leadership team and partook in the company’s growth from one store in New York to the ninth largest automotive parts distribution company in the United States. As Division President and Equity Partner, I spent fifteen years on the Board of Directors. After selling the company in 2013 to a Fortune 500 company, I was selected to assist in the three-year transition period.
After this transition period, I recognized the need that business owners had for personal financial planning and business succession planning. In 2017 I decided to enter the financial services industry. I felt that my background in business gave me a unique ability to understand and relate to clients, especially when it comes to business transition planning. My clients’ range in size from mom and pop businesses to large corporations with 10,000 employees
I hold various insurance licenses including property and casualty, life, health and disability, and long- term care insurance. I also hold a FINRA series 6, 7, and 63 registered with LPL Financial and 65, registered with Private Advisor Group.
I reside in Randolph, NJ with my wife, Jean and our cat Spooky. We have three children and two young grandchildren who call me “Choo”. Although I lived in the Philadelphia market for 25 years, I never stopped rooting for my NY Giants, Yankees, Rangers and Knicks. Our family loves to travel, often to far-away lands to indulge ourselves in the history and culture of different societies. We split our time between New Jersey and Vero Beach, Florida where we love entertaining family and friends.
