With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, I specialize in helping a select group of clients simplify their financial lives and work toward achieving their most significant lifetime goals. In 1991, I took over leadership of Financial Planning Associates from my father and founder, Thomas H. Vickers, Jr. Under my guidance, the firm has grown from a small Minnesota Mutual insurance agency into an independent, holistic wealth management company.

As the managing partner of Financial Planning Associates, LLC, I oversee our administrative operations. I also serve as the compliance liaison for our Registered Investment Advisor, Private Advisor Group, and our Broker/Dealer, LPL Financial. Additionally, I co-lead the FPA Wealth Management Advisory team and participate on our in-house Investment Committee.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Management and Marketing from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA, and am registered with LPL Financial with FINRA series 6, 7, 24, 51, and 63 licenses. My financial credentials include the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), and Registered Health Underwriter® (RHU®) designations. I have also served as past president of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors of Greater Philadelphia (NAIFA-GP), as well as an elected citizen auditor for Bethel Township, PA. I continue to serve on several community boards.

I split my time between Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, and Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, where I live with my wife, Donna, and our dog, Cody. We are proud parents of two wonderful children, Lauren and Thomas, and grandparents to our grandson, Mason. In my free time, I enjoy attending local sports events—especially Eagles, Flyers, Phillies, and St. Joseph’s University basketball games—traveling, and spending quality time in Longport, NJ, making memories with family and friends.
